Annual summer potluck and Board electionat Larkey Park, Walnut Creek for LMJS members and their guests.
Food details: LMJS will bring meat to bbq, buns, and water. You bring, according to the first letter of your last name: A – E: Dessert F – O: Side Dish P – Z: Salad or fruit Dig out your Hawaiian shirts and come join us for this annual fun event! Erin Daruszka, our ever-faithful president, is stepping down this August. Come thank her for all her work over these last couple of years! Past club President Len Goldman also plans to be in attendance and will bring the award he received at the recent RRCA convention, so that the club can share with him in this achievement. He may also have a mystery little guest with him ;0
This potluck/picnic will be our annual elections for LMJS Board positions, so be sure to vote at least once or twice while you're there. (Just checking to see if you're reading this ;) )
Larkey park is home to the Lindsay Wildlife Museum (open 10-5 on Saturdays) and the Larkey Swim Center (open 12-5 Saturdays). This could make a fun family day.
