LMJS is excited to once again be the official training program for the Oakland Running Festival marathon and half marathon. We'll get you ready for the March 2023 race, or any spring race of your choosing. Since 2010 we've trained more than 1,000 runners of all levels — from first-timers to experienced runners — and helped them meet their personal goals. Learn from experienced coaches and pacers, get training tips, and enjoy the long runs with others at your pace! You do not need to be an LMJS member to join the program...yet we'd love to have you benefit from our membership perks, including discounted program fee. |

Note: This is not a "couch to finish line" program. Both marathon and half marathon programs begin with long runs of 6+ miles. To get the most out of the program, we highly recommend marathon trainees already be running 20 miles per week when the program begins and half marathon trainees at least 12 miles per week.
