It’s that time of the year! Our annual picnic will be on Saturday, September 27th from 1-5pm. This year, we’ll be smack dab in the middle of the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline path, at the “Tern” picnic area. It’s easy to find because it’s right next to the big bird-watching ramp.
Our food theme for this event is Filipino fare. One of our members suggested it, and Marty and Ed have selected menu options to please all. We’ll be getting some items from a local restaurant, as well as grilling some skewered meat and vegetables onsite.
For dessert, we’re counting on YOU to make and bring something yummy from any food genre. Drinks, utensils, etc., will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own insulated cup to help us be as sustainable as possible.
We will have some fun surprise activities!!
