The 35th Couples Relay will be held on Sunday, February 24th, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at the Lake Merritt Boating Center, 568 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland, CA.

The LMJS Couples Relay is a two person relay with each team member running one 5K lap around Lake Merritt. Teams can be comprised of any combination of genders (note: on female/male teams the female runner will run the first leg). There are prizes for winners in each age division plus oldest and youngest team. Lots of goodies and prize drawings for all runners. Must be present to win.

Register now! Goody bags and race premiums guaranteed only for the first 200 teams to register. Online registration closes on Saturday, February 23 at 6pm.

Same day registration will be available between 8-8:45am on Sunday. Same-day registration fees are $35 per couple.

We are pleased to have Playworks as our nonprofit beneficiary. Playworks serves over 14,000 kids every day in 33 East Bay elementary schools.
