Summertime fun with Members & Friends
with a group picnic!
We will meet and picnic at the Seawind Picnic Area at Crown Memorial Park in Alameda - a fun park with great views of the San Francisco Bay, with a sandy beach and a visitor center. Members should register themselves along with any additional guest(s), who are all welcome.
Please register in advance to help us plan and organize accordingly. Reservations are open until 5 pm on Friday, August 25, 2023. Our picnic includes a main course of taco selections of meat & vegetarian, sides, and beverages (carbonated and beer/wine). Children aged 11 and under are free. Contact vitocruz@aol.com if cost is an issue to attend.
We will plan a 5k fun run to kick-off the party, so remember to bring your running shoes! Feel free to bring outdoor play items like badminton set, kites, soccer balls, frisbees for more summer fun.
Please leave pets at home as our club insurance does not cover liability.
Show & Tell: bring your running memorabilia, pictures, memories and stories to share with others during the picnic.
