2023 LMJS Summer Track Class 

Come train with a pace group and never look back! 

Anyone can become an LMJS member and enjoy the benefit of paying less for training programs. Check out the LMJS.org website under the membership tab.

Tuesdays:

June 13, 2023 - July 18, 2023 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. No session on July 4th. Make sure to race on the 4th, the second most popular race day in the US after Thanksgiving!

Locations:

First session only: San Rafael track meet with the Tamalpa Club, free entry to run our 3200m training pace race. 

All other sessions: Clark Kerr track is located at the top of Dwight way.  There are no restrooms at this site. You can also park on the opposite site of the track off of Claremont Ave on Stonewall Rd and walk a short trail to the track. 

Our goal race is the July LMJS July 4th Sunday. Register separately online at LMJS.org. We are looking for improvements! 

Fee:

$45 - Returning May 2023 Track Program runners

$50 - LMJS Members

$60 - Non-Members

Description

This class is recommended for runners who have been running for at least 6 months and want to improve their running.  In each session, we will do dynamic warm-up drills, a workout and stretching.  What's unique about the class? Our class numbers allow for pace groups and regular training pace partners! The emphasis for this class will be on learning to run faster by improving form and running economy - both critical aspects of racing. In each class, you will participate in a track workout designed to work on these elements, with a brief discussion of how these fit into a training program.

Jeanine is a certified USATF Level 2 endurance and sprint coach and also has an RRCA Level 2 coaching certificate. She enjoys working with all abilities and age groups.
