Our Trail Running class is back. Meeting for 6 sessions on Saturdays at 9am starting April 2nd.

Improve your strength, form, and agility as you take your running to the trails. Runners variety of paces, haven't tried running on a trail, and ready to enjoy the woods will benefit the most from this class.

Working on the ups and downhills; building strength and skills to lift your feet off the ground and giving you confidence to run the trails safely and strong; you'll be prepared for spring running and other events. We'll be visiting various trails in the Oakland Hills and Tilden in Berkeley.

Running Ability : Please feel comfortable running at least 3 miles before the start of class. Participants who have not done any trail running before are encouraged to join. We have a supportive class for beginning trail users. 

Cost : A sliding scale fee is meant to support our club mission of supporting a diverse community of runners.

Meeting Place : Various locations to be announced by weekly email. 

Time : 9:00 am - 10:30 am 

Instructor : LMJS Board Member Edmundo Vito Cruz, RRCA certified endurance coach, and other LMJS racing team members. Thanks to Jeanine Holmlund, who first organized this trail training program in 2014 which average 20-30 runners.
