Race distance is 3.43 miles. The walk from where you park to the start is about a 1/2 mile. Park bathrooms in the start vicinity. Start/finish is a small, grassy field and somewhat narrow. The surface for the race will be grass, dirt trail, roadway, but primarily dirt. There is a small hill about 1/4 mile after the start, as I recall its like a loop and a half to do this race distance. The
part I disliked the most was a steep downhill on a dirt surface, take it easy. Unless you are a very good downhill runner, you risk falling in this section. The remainder of the course is fairly level, there are some single track sections and again tree roots can trip you up. I would rate the difficulty of this course as moderate, mainly because of the severe downhill that you can't really take full advantage of.
