Join us for an extra special Saturday Fun Run on May 18 as we gather at the new Decathlon sporting goods store in Emeryville. The store is located at 3938 Horton St., Emeryville (across from the Home Depot). Both the Saturday LMJS long run group and the fun run group will participate in this event and we will also be joined by the East Bay Front Runners and runners from the community, so be sure to welcome your fellow runners.
For those doing the long run, meet in front of the store at 8:00 a.m. to depart at 8:10 a.m for a run on the Bay Bridge Trail. The Fun Run group will meet at 8:15 a.m. and take off at 8:30 a.m., there will be several distance options.
The store will give us access to bathrooms inside and a water fountain to fill your water bottle prior to the run.
Be sure to be back by 10:00 a.m. for a raffle drawing that will include a $50 gift certificate to Decathlon and running related items. When you get back from the run, meet in the community area inside at the front of the store for breakfast refreshments and coffee, and mingle with your fellow runners. Also, if you would like you can ask a Decathlon employee for a personal tour of the store to see what they have to offer.
