Saturday Social Run and Fall Potluck On Saturday, Nov. 10th, we'll meet at 8:15am at the Rockridge BART station to run at 8:30am to escape the polls and the pundits. Karen will be our host. Meet at the foot of the Rockridge BART escalators, directly across the street from Cactus Taqueria, which is located at 5642 College Avenue, Oakland (at Keith Avenue). The weather for our run is predicted to be sunny with temperatures in the mid 50s to low 60s. Karen will lead us uphill to run around Lake Temescal and the Montclair District (which includes storybook houses) and back down to Rockridge. Some may wish to continue on to Lincoln Avenue for a longer run. After the run, please join us for our annual Fall Potluck. The big event will take place from 10am–12pm, at 5344 Shafter Avenue, Oakland. Just bring a little something to share with a few others. Juice or yogurt, baked yummies, or anything you'd like to bring or make is fine! Remember, all food is fuel. This event is free; no registration required.
