Registration

When registering, please include your email address and phone number. Training information goes out via email.

We are excited to offer the official East Bay training program for the Oakland Running Festival's (ORF) marathon and half marathon, and other late winter and spring marathons. We have helped hundreds of runners prepare for and enjoy our hometown celebration of running. Whether you're training for your first half marathon or your fifteenth marathon, you can benefit from this program. 

The MARATHON training program begins Monday, November 19, 2018, and the first group run will be Saturday, November 24, 2018.  Marathon training participants should be running at least 20 miles/week before starting the program. 

The HALF MARATHON training program begins Monday, December 31, 2018, and the first Saturday group run will be January 5, 2019. Participants should be running at least 12 miles/week before beginning training. Half marathon training participants are encouraged to begin running with the group when the marathon training begins (shorter distances as appropriate).
