2018 Trail Training Program

Congratulations to all 34 who followed our rolling East Bay hills to the finish line of our 10 week training in 2017 and enjoyed our home spun LMJS races. We are not hosting the Triple Crown this year, but we are still running the races and will use the race courses as our trail base. 

Where: We'll be gathering at different staging areas of the LMJS Tilden Tough Ten (May 20), Chabot Trail Challenge 1/2 Marathon (June 3) and the LMJS Woodmonster 8.8 mile course in Redwood Park (June 24).(Register for races separately). We'll cover uphill and downhill running, stairs and roots, so you're prepared come race day! Contact Jeanine Holmlund with any questions.

This will be the 3rd time this program is offered. We are happy to offer this opportunity to train with others in the beautiful setting of the East Bay Parks! 

Time: 8:30 am to 10:00 am. We'll change to 8:00am when/if  the need arises.

Cost: $50 Racing Team members and those who continue from the Trail fitness class*, $65 Members, $75 Non-Members

Instructor : LMJS Board Member Training Director and Racing Team Member, Jeanine Bourcier Holmlund, RRCA and USATF certified Lev 2, Piedmont High School Cross-Country And Track & Field Coach, assisted by RRCA endurance coach Edmundo Vito Cruz and other LMJS team members.
