33rd Annual Couples 5k Relay

The 33rd Couples Relay will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Lake Merritt Boating Center, 568 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland, CA.

The Couples Relay is a two person relay with each team member running one 5K lap around Lake Merritt. Teams can be comprised of any combination of genders (note: on female/male teams the female runner will run the first leg). Back by popular demand, the first 200 teams registered will receive LMJS running duck socks, courtesy of TranSports Running Store, so register early! There will be prizes for winners in each age division plus oldest and youngest team. There will also be a prize drawing for all runners (must be present to win).
