Trail Fitness Training Class


Congratulations to the 44 participants for completing the Trail Fitness 2015!  It's time for the 2016 edition:  We'll start Sunday, February 14th.  No class Feb 28 (LMJS Couples relay) and March 20, goal race April 9 in the redwoods of Woodside.  (Register on your own for the race once class is started, in case there is a discount)

Improve your strength, form, and agility as you take your running to the trails. Prepare to workout for 6 workout sessions with runners of all levels and then meet to run a trail race. 

Working on the ups and downhills; building strength to lift your feet off the ground and giving you confidence to bear the elements in the off season; you'll be prepared for spring running and races.   

Running Ability:  Please feel comfortable running at least 3-4 miles before the start of class.   

Cost$45 LMJS members, $60 non-members   

Meeting Place: Various locations

Time: 9 am - 10:30 am 

Instructor: LMJS Board Member Training Director and Racing Team Member, Jeanine Bourcier Holmlund,  RRCA And USATF certified Lev 2, Piedmont High School Cross-Country And Track & Field Coach, assisted by LMJS team members.
