Celebrate summertime and our club with a potluck picnic. Join LMJS Members & Friends.
PRE-EVENT FUN RUN We will meet for our run on Aug 24 at the Lake Chabot Marina at special time: 9AM so that those who wish can stay for a club-wide picnic! Bring change of clothes and comfortable shoes.
We will meet and picnic at the Cove Picnic Area at Lake Chabot Marina in Castro Valley -fun park with great activities in and around the lake, start and finish of many races/runs. Members should register themselves along with any additional guest(s), who are all welcome.
Registration is only online, open until time of event, but greatly appreciate advance registration.
We are doing potluck style picnic this year, a homage to past club events. The board will provide grilled goodies like hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers plus all the fixings. For the potluck, bring your assigned dish from the list below, or anything else you would like.

Children aged 11 and under are free.
Also, we will have ballots to elect board member positions and officers for 2024-2025. Contact Edmundo by email vitocruz@aol.com if you are interested to be on ballot.
We will plan a fun summer-time games to kick off the party, so remember to bring your running shoes! Feel free to bring outdoor play items like a badminton set, balls, and frisbees for more summer fun.
Please leave pets at home, as our club insurance does not cover incidents.
Show & Tell: bring your running memorabilia, pictures, stories to share with others during the picnic.
