2018 Skyline 50k Ultra Training
Is a 50k on your bucket list? It is on ours. Training for a fun first time Skyline 50k or a better than ever repeat performance is a reachable goal when you make a commitment to a program and run with new friends in a group.
Where: We'll be gathering at different staging areas of the East Bay Parks to know the course well and following a couple Scena Performance summer races as we build up to our goal race, Skyline 50k: http://www.scenaperformance.com/events/skyline-50k/
Start: Running rain or shine, we'll start after LMJS trail fitness April 22 continuing to build our mileage. We'll cover the ground of all the 2018 Trail Training program and add on extra mileage for the first 10 weeks along with those races (register separately). After the Woodmonster trail race June 24, we'll work on longer quad burning descents and hard uphill battles to achieve a strengthened mind over matter mentality.
We'll be bringing in some experts to share their experience and know-how including race directors Adam Ray and Brian Wyatt.
Time: 8:00 - 10:00 to start. We'll be adjusting to an earlier start times and later finish times depending on.how our group is running.
Cost: $45 Racing Team members, $70 Members, $100 Non-Members. Runners who completed the LMJS Trail Training and have decided to continue will pay the Racing team fee.
