The results including the May race for the LMJS Total Time
Competition in 2014 are now on the web site. Log in with your member ID and password, click on "Members Only", then on "Total Time Competition".

So far, we have four people who have run all three distances, and many more who have done two of the three. Get you shoes on and run that dreaded 15K.

Please remember, there is no Fourth Sunday Run at Lake Merritt in June. The change this year is to accomodate a change in date for the 49th Annual Dick Houston Memorial Woodminster Cross Country Race.

Fourth Sunday runs-- 5K, 10K, and 15K, will return as normal in July. Pre-registration is open for that run.

The beautiful holiday weekend brought out a bunch of happy runners, from the Bay Area and beyond (hello Florida and Ohio visitors!).

The PRELIMINARY results are available in the following document: May 2014 4SR preliminary.pdf

A few youngsters are missing from the results posted (bibs numbered 85, 87, 89, 91). If you are that runner or that runners parent, could you drop me a line and fill me in on name/age/gender info. I have their times, but not their other info. If you don't see you (or your young runner), also let me know.

If anyone else notices something off, please an email to me (Sarah), at schtimpy27@gmail.com before Friday, May 30, and those will be corrected before being added to the final database next week.

What a beautiful day for a tough run. I hope everyone had a good, fun race. The initial preliminary results are attached here: PRELIMINARY TTT2014 results

Please direct any errors to me at schtimpy27@gmail.com by this Friday, May 23. After we are sure the results are accurate, the will be posted to the final race database next week.

Because of a park emergency, we needed to move the chip reader for a few minutes so the park ranger's truck could pass. So a busy potion of the race was manually timed using the timing software. Finishers during that time have reconciled very accurately with the back-up timing. However, you may notice a few seconds here or there (specifically, if I had trouble reading your bib number, it took an extra second or two to enter your number to record your time). If you notice something WAY out of whack, please let me know and I'll go back into the manual back-up to troubleshoot.

Additionally, there are 3 runners who have no finish time on either system. If that's you and you did finish, please let me know (an estimated finish time will help as I go back into the third back-up system).

April showers bring happy runners and walkers to Lake Merritt for the April Fourth Sunday Run.

Congratulations go out to all 155 finishers of the race today!

And a big thank you to all of the volunteers who helped everything go so smoothly despite the unsettled weather

The PRELIMINARY results are available in the following document: April 2014 4SR preliminary.pdf

Cold weather makes for numb fingers, so there may be some spelling or other input errors. I'll be checking for glaring errors tonight, but if you notice something, please an email to me (Sarah), at schtimpy27@gmail.com before Friday, May 2, and those will be corrected before being added to the final database.

The results are still being looked over and some errors corrected. If you notice anything glaring, please send them to Sarah Vital not later than Friday, February 28, at schtimpy27@gmail.com. I'll forward them on to the timer.

A record fell today. And it fell hard! Congratulations to Justin Marpole-Bird, who is the new record holder for fastest 4SR 10K with a time of 30:51, beating the previous record by 1 minute and 35 seconds. Wow!!

And congratulations go out to all 162 finishers of the race today!

The PRELIMINARY results are available in the following document: January 2014 4SR preliminary.pdf

With so many same day registrants today, our timing team was inputting data at light speed. I will be going through a double checking times and spellings and cleaning up upper case-lower case stuff, but be sure to check you name, age, gender, and city for any spelling errors and send any corrections to me at schtimpy27@gmail.com by Friday, January 31. Final results will be added to the database the following Monday.

You came from as far as Wisconsin, Montana, Maryland, British Columbia, and just around the corner. And all together, you totaled 143 fearless and fabulous runners and walkers!

The PRELIMINARY results are available in the following document: December 2013 4SR preliminary.pdf

With so many same day registrants today, our timing team was inputting data at light speed, so be sure to check you name, age, gender, and city for any spelling errors.

A few bibs were switched, and I think I caught them, but if you notice something way off, let me know. I'm not finished reconciling the manual back-up, so you may catch the error before I do.

Also, several walk-up runners also had the wrong division assigned at data entry (you were 5Ks but were marked as 15Ks); this was the cause of the place awards issues. That has been corrected here. Check back when the FINAL results are posted next week, and if you are due a ribbon, be sure to stop by the Information Table next race and pick it up. Or pop me an email and I can mail one to you if you won't be at the next race.

If you have corrections, please send them to Sarah Vital not later than Friday, December 27 at schtimpy27@gmail.com

After fully reconciling with the manual backup, the final results will be posted in the official database next week.
