This is the last Race of the Year in the PAUSATF Road Race Series, and what a fun way to end the year! It takes place in San Francisco, and each person runs 4.5 miles around Lake Merced. The scoring is a bit different than the other PA races in that it is scored with FOUR on each team. There are no individual scores or points, as your time will be lumped together with the other 3 people on your team. But, if you only have 3 runners on a team, you may have 1 runner run twice.
LMJS will have teams with PA members, and teams without PA members, and perhaps some that are mixed. If you are already a PA member, I would encourage you to be on a team that isn't mixed so that your effort will help earn PA team points. If you aren't a PA member, maybe this is the time to join! The membership will last through 2011, and you could reap the benefits of being on the team.
Non-PA Members: Please just run and have fun by forming some more teams! There are many divisions you can enter under: Couples, Families, Cooperate, Male, Female....Once we find all our interested runners, we can get creative with our teams.
