Couples Relay 2009

The 31st annual running of this unique race was held on February 22, 2009. This is LMJS's oldest special race and one of the oldest race still contested in the East Bay. A total of 135 teams, of two runners each competed against each other for bragging rights as to who was the fastest. Despite the rainy and wet conditions, 9 teams finished under the 40 minute barrier for the total 10K distance. The winning team of Natalie Dimits and Connor McCarthy finished in a time of 37:46 and they were one of the youth teams from the Pleasanton Heat running club.
